In June 2021, il Botolo Nizza DOCG was featured at two exciting wine events in Stockholm — the first international appearances since the pandemic began.

At Botolo, we closely monitor every stage of the vine’s life cycle.
In winter, we carried out short pruning to promote quality and resilience.
In April, we removed weeds and planted new Pinot cuttings for our Metodo Classico.

Despite the challenges of 2020, nothing could dampen our enthusiasm for celebrating Nizza DOCG, the young yet remarkable red wine born from the heart of Piemonte.

On July 1st, the Swedish association Munskänkarna organized a digital tasting from Stockholm dedicated to our Nizza DOCG 2015. Guided by importer Martin Wall, over 90 participants discovered the denomination and the Monferrato territory, enjoying the wine live from their own homes. The event was a great success.

On October 12th, in the UNESCO Prosecco hills, our wines accompanied Piedmontese Slow Food dishes during an evening of taste and culture. Il Botolo was appreciated as a young, high-quality winery, enhancing Barbera with elegance. A successful and convivial event.
