On Sunday 7 May, we had the pleasure of hosting the public event In the footsteps of Francesco Cirio at our Tenuta Le Coccole, honoring the renowned entrepreneur from Nizza Monferrato.
The day celebrated landscape, gastronomy, community and culture, in collaboration with the City of Nizza Monferrato, the Municipalities of Fontanile and Castelnuovo Belbo, and the Unione Collinare Vigne & Vini, with support from Macelleria Diotti and Conserve Italia.
Two morning walks departed from Nizza Monferrato (9:30) and Fontanile (10:30), converging at our estate after a route filled with historical anecdotes and a photography contest for younger participants.
From 12:00, we hosted a picnic featuring local specialties paired with our wines.
At 15:00, we inaugurated the first section of a trekking route dedicated to Francesco Cirio, who passed through our estate during his early commercial travels.
A cultural discussion followed, comparing the legacies of Fulvio Bracco and Francesco Cirio — two entrepreneurs who shaped Italy’s development while remaining deeply connected to people and community — with a tribute to our beloved founder, Dr. Roberto de Silva.
