On April 24th and 25th, we were in Stockholm to participate in the European initiative E4Quality<\/strong>, organized by the Consorzio Barbera d\u2019Asti e Vini del Monferrato<\/a>. E4Quality is a biennial project that aims to promote the history of high-quality agricultural products from the Piedmont region in a fresh and innovative way, thanks to the know-how of the Protection Consortia, starting from the results of a survey conducted on market trends in order to respond to the needs of an increasingly global and heterogeneous market.<\/p>

During the two days in the Swedish capital, an important Masterclass took place dedicated to the two DOCG denominations Barbera d\u2019Asti<\/a> and Ruch\u00e8 di Castagnole Monferrato, in the presence of experts from the Piedmontese wine sector and wine producers from the region, including us from Il Botolo.<\/p>

The meeting, aimed at a wide audience of professionals, communicators, and potential clients, saw the participation of about 40 of the best Swedish journalists, wine bloggers, and importers. Under the guidance of writer and award-winning professor Ian D\u2019Agata,<\/a> the Masterclass was co-chaired by Madeleine Stenwreth<\/a>, one of Sweden’s Masters of Wine. <\/p>

At the end of the first day, we had the honor of dining at the prestigious Italian restaurant L\u2019Avventura<\/a>, hosted by the owner and chef Karl Ljung<\/a>, acclaimed chef of the year in Sweden.<\/p>
